Spurs sign Theo Ratliff

The Spurs have signed veteran center Theo Ratliff, according to an Associated Press report on Saturday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ratliff spent last season with the 76ers, averaging 1.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.02 blocks in 12.6 minutes while appearing in 46 games.

Good pickup. SA needed a shot blocker. Apart from Duncan no other player would be able to block shots. Blair, Bonner, and McDyess are too short and don't have the shot altering presence.
