![]() Pretty good game so far in the half. The US is is scoring every three. They are 8/11. And we are short on PGs. No calde, Ricky and Lopez have 2 and 3 fouls.
Lets hope this can stay close till the end. Im fearing Bryant will come very aggresive in the 3rd. |

![]() Despite whats been said on this forum, Spain had their chance as they kept it close near the end.
I think Kobe's 4 point play really turned the tide and swung the momentum back to the US and they used their atheletism to close the game out. It was a great game to watch. Rudy Fernandez was outstanding, cant wait to see him in Portland next year |

![]() Awesome game. Too bad the US hit all those threes. The way the refs let them walk all the time was pretty embarrasing, but oh well. They US did play well. Congrats to both teams. Im glad spain finally showed their true face.
What a great move by the team asking the coach if Calde could play those 3 last second of the game. Last edited by Belsius; 08-24-2008 at 12:13 PM. |

![]() Best Olympic game ever.
I'm glad I stayed up until 430 to watch. It just sucks that Spain couldnt get over the hump when they finally cut it to 2. Their coach took way too long to play Rudy and JCN together in the 4th. Rudys dunk on Dwight= legendary. I almost woke up the house after that one. WOW. |

![]() Spain was impressive, that dunk was great, but it wasnt really on Howard, Kobe sold him out and left him in a horrible spot and he tried to make a great play and not give an easy basket. Still a sick finish on that dunk.
Kobe is by far the most confident/clutch player in the world. |
