Default Sources: Kidd Wants Out Of New Jersey

Well apparently Kidd's agent has asked Rod Thorn to deal Jason before the February trade deadline. So, any guesses as to where he'll end up? Laker, Mavs, Wizards, Cavs, etc.

"Right now things are going very poorly for us," Thorn told the Star-Ledger. "Historically, those are the times when you don't get offered what you might consider fair deals. And sometimes you feel that maybe you should do something to do something, but those are the times you have to be very cognizant and careful about what the results of your actions might be."

An interesting team would be Atlanta. With all those athletes, Kidd would make that team pretty fucking dangerous in the playoffs. Plus they have assets that New jersey would absolutely love.

If I was LA I wouldn't do it. They're a strong team with Bynum there and Fisher knows the triangle offense.

Plus, Kuzzy, Magloire is washed up. He's not a PF and it would hurt the Lakers long term.

Just my opinion, but I don't think the Lakers need Kidd anymore. They've been playing well and just need to get healthy (Bynum). Kidd's got a big contract and is getting older. I think they'll do just fine with Fisher and Farmar and theres no need to make a trade just for the sake of making a trade.

Also isn't Magloire a center?

And also doesn't he suck big time? Lakers wouldn't have a decent PF if they did this trade, not that they have a decent one now.
