Source: Knicks Will Get Sessions

Alan Hahn reports on the latest information he is hearing about the Knicks' pursuit of Ramon Sessions as the team's next point guard.

"What I have been told is the Knicks want Sessions and they will eventually get him," Hahn writes. "The price remains TBD."

Hahn earlier reported that the Knicks were offering slightly less than the team's mid-level exception, which starts at around $5.8 million in the first season.
Oh Shit!

ive never been sold on sessions...
i dunno what it is, but regardless of all the hype that surrounded him last off season and his 'potential', i just see another shoot first, mediocre PG.
he doesnt shoot at a great percentage, he cant hit 3's, he isnt the smartest PG in the world, he's turnover prone.
i guess anything is an upgrade over duhon, but will sessions make NY any better? probably not...
i dunno, i think he's overrated and all hype. he'll get his points playing for D'antoni, but who wouldnt? he doesnt make them anything special, in fact, i dont think he'd make any team special.

i agree but i dont because i saw some of the games when he just completely took over just blew me away...and hes not gonna get any thing over the MLE so hes not too expensive....its hard to find guys that can get 40 points a game, hes like a ben gordon in the making, which isnt bad for that kinda money....

Sessions made some great strides last year. His defence needs to improve but his playmaking and midrange game took a huge leap. Who says his 3 pt shooting wont as well now? And even if it doesnt hes still very solid on the pick and roll game. Hes still young and can only improve really. Step in the right direction for the Knicks getting a good young PG

Are they gonna use him as a 2-guard? Might have a good floor game with Duhon on the floor at the same time. It would be good for them to have 2 ball handlers with very good court vision.

People said the Raptors overpaid for Jack. Watch those same people lick the Knicks balls for overpaying for Sessions.
