13. Toronto Raptors
Like the Sixers, they are counting heavily on a former All-Star power forward to take them to the next level. If Jermaine O'Neal can regain his form after four seasons battling injuries, the Raptors could vault into the East's top four. But if O'Neal goes down again, Toronto's lack of depth and overall toughness will doom it to another first-round playoff ouster.
Middle of the pack....everyone agree ir disagree?

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

Based on how they looked in preseason I think they're being very generous. But, you usually don't see your players at their best during preseason so I think at this point its a fair assessment.

I dont place a whole lotta faith into preseaon ranking, but as you said, If I was ranking them they would be about 25 based on the preseason.

Honestly, we can use that excuse Doc, except, the other teams wearn't usinmg thiers either.

I think the record mirrors what tornto is capable of at this point. .500.

I agree with this ranking. The Raptors looked horrible in pre-season and were out rebounded i believe in 6 out of 8 games and coughed the ball up nearly 17times per game.Aside from Jo this team isn't much better on the defencive end.So if he doesn't give us a good season (70+ GP),it's big trouble in Raptor land.
