This is why we're tanking...to draft this guy.

BC had Obi Won in his ear while he was signing Jose...

"This is not the Spanish PG you're looking for."

The amazing thing is that hes shooting hand is injured so he is basically playing with his "bad" hand, not shooting at all and still being capable of being really productive, 10 assist. And he became 18 a couple of months ago.Sick defender and sick passer, If this kid ever learns to shoot properly he will be something special.

I never got to see the vid. It goes up to play number 2 and stops so I don't get to see the vid, but I would really like to see him here. He was a starter for Spain, over Caldy, so he will be good here

Calde is the starter, Rubio is the third PG, probably the second now.

3RD? What? Seriously, I thought he was really good and could become a starter. Especially if he was going to go 1st or 2nd in the draft

Calderon is the most important player in the Spanish team. He will be the first PG for a lot of time. Spain has a lot of good PGs not playing in the NBA. Carlos Cabezas, Ricky Rubio, Sergio Rodriguez and Raul Lopez wil be fighting for those second and third positions.
As good as Rubio is, he has shown in the spanish leagues playoffs hes still too young.

Yeah, if you watched the Spain team play you'd see that Ricky still needs time. I have a boy-crush on him though, he will be my favorite one day.

He's not going to be in the 09 draft. '10 more likely.
He said he might even wait two years and finish out his contract in Europe

I was more impressed by the block on the 3 and then follow up dunk. Now THAT'S a complete play.
