SI Poll: What player would you build your team around?
SI asked 137 NBA players this question....
Sports Illustrated Players Poll: They chose LeBron to build around first | March Here's how it looked after the answers were tallied. 1. Lebron James 2. Dwight Howard 3. Kevin Durant 4. Kobe Bryant 5. Derrick Rose 6. Chris Paul 7. Dwyane Wade 8. Steve Nash 9. Blake Griffin 10. Deron Williams 11. Pau Gasol 12. Rajon Rondo 13. Eric Gordon 14. Ricky Rubio 15. Andrew Bynum I had no idea that players were so high on Eric Gordon. Wow. |
For me:
1. Kevin Durant 2. Derrick Rose 3. Lebron James 4. Deron Williams 5. Chris Paul 6. Dwyane Wade 7. Dwight Howard 8. Blake Griffin 9. Kobe Bryant 10. Melo 11. Irving 12. Nowitzki 13. Rondo 14. Westbrook 15. Bynum |
i'm actually surprised lebron was picked. i know his fourth quarter play is a little over done, but it's still a huge concern. i'd pick durant. i used to say dwight, but i don't like what he's doing in orlando.

id put rose at number 1.
|
I'd probably put Rose or Paul at #1. With an edge for Paul.
|
1. Chris Bosh :cookie:

it's not like i wouldn't take lebron on my team, we just all have our preferences. |
Durant doesn't defend anything close to how Lebron defends.
Rose listed 5th is crazy. I'd have him 2 and Durant 3. |
I wouldn't even put griffin on that list or gordon

edit just re-read your post you would pick griffin over rondo? the hell lol and I fuckin hate rondo |
1. Lebron (i think he is most dominant player at the moment at both ends of the floor even if he is not great in clutch)
2. Rose 3. Durant 4. Paul 5. Kobe 6. Nowitzki (yes i think he deserves to be here) 7. Deron 8. Howard Brain fart... |
1. Lebron. 2. Durant. 3. Rose

Irving should be on the list before Rubio & Gordon. Bynum higher also. Irving doing work in Cleveland. Perfect piece to build around.

people who aren't putting lebron first, are you forgetting what cleveland was? their record, with that supporting cast, i'd put lebron first by a mile. Hell, 100000000000000 miles. he's special, now if only he could learn how to breathe in fourth quarters of the NBA finals. |
