SI, reports that Utah has matched the Blazer's offer.
And get used to seeing Millsap in Jazz Uni.

Its what they get for calling teams threatiening them about the possibility of signing Miles and adding 9 million in salary to the Blazer.

I can see that guy who bashed Toronto now bashing Utah.

Anyway if Millsap is re-signed then Boozer is now expandable and opens up opportunities for trade options, such as the Beasley for him trade.

I really don't see this being a huge deal for the Blazers. Next summer there will be some nice free agents. They don't get better right now but they stay at the same level and next off-season they make their big play.

Portland has 3 starting positions locked up for a long time, and a bunch of young players around that core in Outlaw, Fernandez, Bayless, Webster, Batum and the veteran leader in Pryzbilla. Theyre only going to get better this year because their young players are going to improve, but they need better veteran guys at the 1 and 3 to take it all the way.

That and they need Oden to go from 8+8 to 12+10 and on and on. Thats whatll really get them to that next level first and foremost because they arent going anywhere without Greg being the 2nd guy in terms of impact on the court. The refs also need to leave him alone but I dont want to get started on the joke that is NBA officating especially when it comes to guards vs bigs and what kind of calls they get and vets vs rookies.
