I wish I saw the game. Was Bosh as good as his numbers and his post game speach?

he was a flop down the stretch on defense and offense but in general he was very solid. he's always been a great shareef impressionist.

What happened?

Looked ok to me against the world champs tonight.
quit riding bosh's dick....he just proves he is inconsistent as fuck this season, watch next game he'll have another 7 point performance or play generally subpar....and yes he does fade against best teams, one game doesn't change that....terrible basis for an argument..

Speaking of "flopping down the stretch".... quite the performance from Mr. Bryant. Not sure that I've ever seen someone take a 35 ft jumper with 30 secs left on the clock. lol.

The modern Lakers have lived on Kobe being the top dog at the wing position and that just isn't the case when they face the Heat.

He has no mental edge whatsoever over Dwyane Wade.

Compelling argument.... because no other players in the league have "subpar games" from time to time. lol... keep hatin'!

That, and he's matching up with a player who commands the same level of respect that he does in the eyes of the refs.

Flop seems like a stretch since they won the game with him on the floor, but I did notice he was mostly absent from the play by play in the final 6 minutes. I'm guessing he was hiding a bit, opting not to cut to the basket or not to give a passing angle to Wade and LBJ down the stretch in the hopes they'll make a play. He has done that quite a bit this year.

ya but THOSE players arent sopposed to be ALLSTARS, or what some ppl dare to call him: SUPERSTAR. to play that poorly that often in clutch situations and against good teams isnt a coincidence. it happens far too often with him.

even as a raptor he only showed up against the bottom teams. remember playoffs vs magic, vs nets. just goes to show you what type of player he is. i dont know what he did to make you fall in love with him, but there arent many of u Bosh supporters that exist out there these days....

It was refreshing.

Of course if you listen to Kobe it tantamount to a crime against humanity itself. lol. As if he's never fouled someone and got away with it.

Chris is the type of player that is good enough to have angry angry former fans feel the need to bring down his supporters every chance they get.

That's the type of devotion you get from haters only when you're really good.

Kobe is scary...taking shots for up to two hours after the game. I have to respect his emotion and love for basketball.

This is also very true.

Wade kinda owed Kobe one though after he sunk that bank-shot buzzer-beater over him last year.

nah, its just realization of how overrated he truly is, def not because hes REALLY good.....some of us raptor fans didnt realize this or just simply refused to admit this when he was on our team b/c of the home team bias, he was all we had on our mediocre team...but when i see him now take ill advised shots down the stretch, miss open jump shots (his shot was overrated imo), and be generally soft player alltogether...i remember he showed all these characteristics as a raptor as well....so no its not b/c hes rlly good. just realization.

ull find fans dislike and hate players that leave their team not b/c of there talent, or jealousy necessarily, but how they left the team. alot of people hated antonio davis when he left after he talked down about our country a bit and how he didnt want his kids being taught in canadian schools...was he good enough to have angry fans....hell no...but the hatred existed anyways....just goes to show you devoted hatred isnt necessarily bc of jealousy or talent, its more bc of how they left and what they say when they leave...so seeing failure makes us happy..

Hmmm.... which is it then?

Call me crazy but considering the fact that he's a 6-time all-star, an olympian and a guy who came pretty damn close to averaging 20 + 10 for 4 straight years speaks to the quality of his game. FG%.. FTAs... REBS... He was exceptional for us in ALL of those areas.

Not to mention averaging 18-8 this year despite in my opinion not playing very great.

If Chris Bosh wasn't good, you wouldn't be on here passionately arguing that he is crap.

I never said he was BAD, i agree hes good, just highly overrated...didnt deserve to be an allstar this year at all, and especially doesnt deserve to be called a superstar.....and besides his stats were inflated with the raps bc the team lacked the overall talent, he was there go to guy, got all the play calls for him, all the chances in the world to upgrade his stats.....take barg for example, look at his ppg this year... most ppl in this forum would argue its inflated b/c of HOW many shot attempts he gets a game, how many times triano draws out plays for him etc.....hes one of the few options on our team, and clearly isnt as good as his ppg would indicate....the same applied with bosh.....

besides bosh's field goal percentage was good b/c of all the close to the net points he got....i thought his mid range shots were highly inconsistent/overated and still are.....its like saying amir is a good shooter b/c of his fg percantage this year, we all know thats far from the truth...

plus Bosh got alot of his points at the foul line ...thats what ppl forget, he had tons of attempts per game. it wasnt b/c of his GREAT shot...considering alot of foul calls in the nba are questionable, it bothers me those type of players that rely heavily on free throws to boost their ppg stats...those type of points arent necessarily based off talent at times, but the luck of the call, or reputation...

yes Bosh made all-star all years with us. its hard to deny the stats from a fan perspective. i bet many american fans voted him into past games b/c of his stats, knew little about his style of play or how unclutch he was (take that miami fan knickkiller who joined this forum recently as an example)...but the point is stats don't ALWAYS show the true colors of the players talent and abilities, Bosh falls into this catagorey of player imo.
