Question Should there be multiple MIP awards?

I always thought about this and I think that the MIP award should be broken down into 3 tiers:

1) Solid player to all-star calibre player
Examples:
Kevin Durant, Devin Harris (last year), Aaron Brooks etc.

2) Player with the largest margin of PPG compared to last year to current year
(Pretty much a "most improved scorer of the year", not campared to "scoring champ")

Examples:
Danny Granger, Jeff Green, George Hill, etc.

3) Unknown player to solid player award
(a player that came out of nowhere, or just a scrub and became a 6th man/starter type player)

Exmaples:
Sonny Weems, Serge Ibaka, Chris Andersen, etc.

I only thought about this because there are so many players that deserve this award and I find it unfair there's only 1 and it's always the biggest name or the most popular to retrieve it.

thoughts?

No.. just no.. Then they'd have to implement multiple awards for other categories: most valuable screen setter, bounce passer etc.
