Where does one go after dunking on a 13-ton shark? What's the next step after defeating Damon Jones with a plastic knife and killer dance moves? Well, if you're Shaquille O'Neal(notes) you challenge the UFC heavyweight champion of the world.

UFC president Dana White joined "Into The Night with Tony Bruno" to discuss UFC 100's impressive ratings, the possibility of a Brock Lesnar-Fedor Emelianenko match, and the desire of The Big Diesel/Witness/Twitter to step inside the octagon with the Coors Light-drinkin' champ. Sports Radio Interviews transcribes the gold:

"Shaq texts and Twitters me all the time saying he wants to fight Brock Lesnar. He's been training for 10 years; Shaq's probably the only dude in the NBA that can actually fight ... I told Shaq, I said listen, 'Win another NBA championship this year and then we'll talk next year.'"

White's right; Shaq's yearning to get in the cage is nothing new. He's been training with Jonathan Burke of Gracie's Gym for 10 years now, where he does the full gamut of MMA, boxing, jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai and wrestling. Cagewriter spoke with Burke in May who said that O'Neal "works his tail off" during drills and "has way more talent with this stuff than people would imagine." And again, he dunked on a freakin' shark!

It's a long shot to ever happen, but Shaq vs. Brock ... I would pay good money to see that

I love Shaq...but Lesnar would destroy him. Shaq isn't quick enough to fight Lesnar.

I would hate to watch that fight. The Big Aristotle KO'd in the first round.

I wouldn't write Shaq off so easily. The man is a 7'0" 330lbs wrecking machine. If he's been training in mixed martial arts for 10 years that's about six or seven more than Brock.

Lesnar is 6'3 - 265 lbs
Mir is 6'2 - 245 lbs

Lesnar made Mir look like a little kid in the ring he looked so much bigger.

Shaq is 7'1 - 325 lbs (All stats according to wikipedia ... will be the same give or take an inch or a few lbs).

Anyways.. Lesnar is the height of Jose Calderon. He would look like an ant beside Shaq. And if Shaq has been training for 10 years... there's no way Lesnar could take him down.

I hope the odds are heavily against shaq this fight so i can bet on him and come out with a nice pay-day

I bet my money on Lesnar because Shaq would have to drop down from 325 to 265 to make weight and he'd then look like a twig.

Didn't shaq start his training when the Phoenix trainers recommended it to him?
That's why on PTI he said he's always keeping in touch with the personal trainers there who helped him feel 28 again.

he wouldnt have to drop weight. the only reason lesnar is doing so well is because he is so massive when compared to his competition; he really isnt that skilled of a fighter. shaq is almost a foot taller and weighs 90+lbs more than him. couple that with shaq having been training for 10 years, and i think this would be a good fight.

if they fought for the HEAVYWEIGHT championship then Shaq would have to drop to 265

however, if it was just a SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT fight (SH is 265+ no limit) then they could do it

Brock is 265 in the heavyweight division but walks around at like 280

There is no super heavyweight class in UFC. So therefore the limit is 265. If it were any higher then Brock would be close to 300 pounds during weigh in.

shaq would get beat he's too old. Lesnar would put him in a submission.

SHAQ is a big man. but, he would have to drop major weight and he's way to tall. lesnar would sweep his legs and pound his face in.

Lesnar can't pull off a submission even if his life depended on it.

There won't super heavyweight fights until maybe another 10 years +. The UFC can't even get a enough talent in there HW division. Why would they want a SH division?
