What about expanding to Seattle and Vancouver if Sacramento keeps the Kings? Or should the league keep it at 30?

I should add that Vancouver supported the Grizz pretty well from a fan standpoint. An average of 17,000 plus for 4 straight seasons that saw the team go 15-67, 14-68, 19-63 and 9-41 in the lockout year. It wasn't until the 2nd to the last year when everyone thought that they were St. Louis bound and the final year when they were off the Memphis, that attendance plummeted to 13,000 plus.

What also killed the Grizz in Vancouver was the lack of broadcast revenue and corporate sponsorship. I have to think that it would be better now with the Canadian dollar on par with the American.

When Phoenix would play in Seattle at least 1/3 of the audience was from BC.

Stealing teams is not the way to go for Seattle. I know their fan base is full of hatred and vengeance, but stealing another city's stinky basketball program is not the best way to vent frustration. Letting a financially struggling team naturally come to them and say "we want to play in Seattle" will happen. Especially now that Seattle has jumped to the front of the line to say "Hey... we got next."

Boo. I was looking forward to taking the ferry over to Seattle and watching a game from the "Weed Garden".

well this open the gates for the nhl to move the phoenex coyotes to seattle

perfect situation for the nhl, they can get into the market before the nba again,

eventually seattle will have basketball its a big market it should have every sport

Hornets should've moved to Seattle but Stern was/is hell-bent on keeping the team in NOLA.

I think the league will expand to KC and Seattle when this current tv deal is done in time for the 2016 season

Stern kept them in NOLA because that BP money should be arriving soon.
Sorry we destroyed your ocean, here's some cash, have fun with your new Pelicans team.
