The Suns have been awarded Luis Scola on the amnesty waivers.

Houston used their amnesty clause on Scola this week.

Yeah, they look decent. Not a playoff team in the west, but they'll be competitive.

Doesn't look like Hill is coming back, so probably Dudley at the 2 spot? also heard they were going after Mayo ..

but yes, they have done a pretty damn good job this summer of turning it in the right direction, also a pretty solid bench with guys like Morris, Frye, marshall, etc.

Childress was amnestied
That contract was horrible from day 1 and he never fit in to their team

i loved childress when he first came into the league. not sure if it was because of team dynamics, but he regressed as a player coming out of europe.

Yeah truth about gordon, would have been a much better team with him at the 2. Though hasnt the age dropped by like 12 years in 1 season haha, shedding nash, hill and childress that got to be a big drop

The NBA's 30 teams were notified shortly after 5 p.m. ET on Sunday that the Suns won the blind bidding for Scola, which requires interested teams under the salary cap to bid no less than $3 million for this season and $10-plus million for the next three seasons.

they've been great, good and then average for a while, there about to venture into raptorland, years of being a treadmill team

they shouldn't be gap filling right now, there franchise has earned the right to have a few bad years with the fans,

SSOL was great while it lasted

i wouldn't have brought in scola, unless there satisfied in staying average

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the fit either now that Gordon is going back to NOH. If they didnt match, then PHX would have a pretty nice looking starting 5, but without him this move isnt great since Scola is going to have 3 years on his contract and PHX isnt making the playoffs unless they make a huge deal.
