Sacramento's Rookies

With Francisco Garcia out for a while, Omri Casspi has the cahnce to shine.
With the drafting of Tyreke Evans, will the Kings have one of the better backcourts in the kleague? (Kevin Martin and Tyreke)
Omri Casspi is my favourite rookie in the draft. Before this year, he wasn't projected to be picked but hard work made him the 22nd overall pick in the draft. Unlike a few Europena players, Omri Casspi is tough. He'll attack the rim, try to rebound and guard his man. His work ethic is one of the reasons he is the first Israeli born player in the NBA.
Tyreke Evans is special. He's a big point guard with a 7,3 wing span. He's athletic. He can shoot, he can drive, he can dunk, he can, rebound and he can defend. Tyreke Evans will fill the stat sheet next year no question about it and he will be the Rookie of they yeart. He can get 17 6 6 2 1 a game. He's special and has the most potential out of anyone in the class.

Tyreke will get those 17/6/6 numbers but it will be as an Iverson-esque ballhog who's only effective in isos. His offense will be get it at the beginning of the shotclock, dribble it for 10-15 seconds, then drive past his man wildly and either score or get to the line. He'll do this while being about as efficient as prime AI and turning the ball over as much as anyone. Defensively he has potential but he actually has to care... look at Rudy Gay

I'm sure he'll have his fans. He'll probably win ROY and anytime you have a guy getting 20/6/6 who looks like he beats teams by himself, people will latch onto him as a star in a bad position. But personally I can't stand those type of players or overdribbling in general and I don't think it'll ever translate to winning. Especially when he gets a big contract when his rookie deal runs out. Tyreke seems like the prototypical good stats bad team guy

I think Tyreke is the opposite of Iverson attitude wise. I actually think team wil want him because of his attitude and he is a lot more versatile than Iverson.
