2011 NBA Trade Rumors Heat Moving Bosh?
June 29, 2011 10:50 AM EDT

Miami is one of the few NBA teams that was not able to improve themselves through the draft. The Heat also have severe restrictions on what they can do during the off-season because of the three star players on the team.

The front office is handcuffed and the only way it seems this team could add enough talent to win an NBA Championship is to trade one of their stars. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are not going anywhere, so that leaves Chris Bosh as trade bait.

Bosh struggled in the playoffs as he gets limited touches with the other two players on the floor, but Bosh is a good low post player and his trade value could bring Miami a couple of solid players and that could be the depth needed for this team to win the big game.

One rumor has Bosh heading to the LA Clippers and in return the Heat would get Chris Kaman an Randy Foye. Miami would get two solid players and the Clippers would add Bosh to go along with Blake Griffin in the front-court.

The trade would give the NBA another big name in the LA market and Miami would add some much-needed depth, this would be a good scenario for both teams and the league. The Clippers are looking to compete in LA and adding Bosh would be a big step in the right direction for the other LA team.

According to a Miami Heat insider, Chris Bosh may be getting traded. The snitch revealed to mediatakeout, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and team president Pat Riley have held meetings about trading Bosh. The insider claims Chris Bosh is furious and blames Lebron James and Dwyane Wade. Looks like we may get to see that ugly cry of Chris Bosh again real soon. Chris Bosh celebrated his bachelor party in Las Vegas over the weekend.

I can't see how Griffin and Bosh would workout. Who would play center? Bosh?

not to comment on the rumour, but these two bits are flat out wrong.

D-wade and Lebron did not attend Bosh's bachelor party... unsure if he didn't invite them or if they were too busy (I think Dwayne was in Europe but could've changed his schedule for a teammate right?).

I doubt Lebron and D-Wade either had the time or had any interest in attending CB's 3 day bachelor party.

They come within 2 game of winning it all in their 1st year together and they want to trade Bosh?

Seems like a ludicrous idea to me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... unless they can manage to swing a deal for D12 it makes no sense for the Heat to break up their core.

As if they absolutely can't ever win it if Lebron doesn't shit the bed. And they don't have enough talent to get over the hump. lol

Well honestly we all knew trade speculation around Bosh would happen the moment maimi lost. Clippers would be down right stupid to put Bosh and Griffin in the same starting line up. Imagine clippers are doing this so Bosh can come off the bench, I would love, love, love to see that lmaoooo.

IF there will be a hard cap, the Heat will have to move somebody.

Hes getting traded because of the salary cap. Face it, Wade and Lebron are the top players in the NBA, Bosh is not. If you trade Bosh you get a bunch of flexibility to sign people and add depth.

I actually don't buy too much into that theory. I think it's likely he didn't invite them or asked them not to come, because well, they'd overshadow him at his own party to be honest. And nobody likes that.

don't get it...didn't Bosh play well in the playoffs? I thought he avgd better than lebron in the finals. Don't know why the article says Bosh struggled in the playoffs, he might of struggled during the season cause he would barely get the ball.

He struggled offensively vs Boston (still averaged 10rpg though), but beyond that he was solid. In fact he averaged 18.6ppg/8.5rpg and shot 48% for the playoffs.

Miami should consider trading lebron. lebron and dwade dont really work that well together and during playoffs, the heat played extremely better with just dwade and Bosh while lbj was on the bench. maybe trade lbj for d12? that would be a pretty beast frontcourt

If the owners play hardball - and win - and a hard cap is introduced next season, who do you guys think will be the odd man out? Obviously Bosh will be the one they will be forced to move. They can't field a solid ball club with 3 players taking up 99% of the teams salary.... Especially when Bosh makes the most out of the three of them. I can guarantee you that Riley is looking into every possible scenario as we speak.
