Default Rumor: The Bulls Close to Doing What All Bulls Fans Want Them To Do

http://www.rumorpress.net/

Either one of those 2, SJAX or Mayo would be an incredible addition. SJax would give them toughness, experience, 3 pt shooting, very good defender, championship pedigree etc. Mayo would give them possibly the best up and coming soon to be best backcourt in the NBA.

Giving up Gibson is tough, but if you can get a starting SG its all worth it. Chicagos starting lineup would be amazing, and theyd still have Watson/Korver/Brewer off the bench, theyd just need to get a backup big.

I think givin what they are trying to do, and the style of team they have already, Mayo would be the best fit. Reason being is because he would go well with Noah and Rose, due to being a younger player but still very skilled, would give him years to play with them all.

SJax is the better fit.
Mayo is too one dimensional.
SJax can rebound, defend, pass... plus he has playoff experience. not to mention, when he's motivated he is a beast!

is Mayo going to guard Kobe or Wade?
thats a joke.

Mayo is much younger though, and has yet to reach his prime. Jackson is already in his 30s.

Actually Mayo is a pretty good defender. He's also about two inches taller and twenty pounds heavier than Rose which makes him about the same size as Wade and not much smaller than Kobe.

I think SJAX would work there. They need a veteran presence on that team. You can't win it all with young players.

Not much of a size difference here.

Pictures can be deceiving...check the draft combine results.

Rose is 6'1.5 in bare feet and Mayo is 6'3.25.

Rose is currently listed at 190lbs and Mayo at 210lbs.

There is basically only a 1 inch height difference between the two so they would still be considered as a undersized back court.

6'3.25 - 6'1.5 = 1.75 inches. That's a little closer to almost two inches taller (which is what I originally said) than a one inch difference and add in that he's bigger physically and I think they'd be fine.

I'm also not too sure how a 6'2 and 6'4 Rose and Mayo are undersized against a 6'1 and 6'5 Rondo and Allen or a 6'2 and 6'4 Arroyo and Wade or a 6'0 and 6'5.5 Nelson and Richardson?

put a 6'8 Jackson in there and they'd be a lot more physically intimidating.

Bulls are already top 3 in my opinion.
SJax would make them #1.

Yeah. Jackson would be a great fit especially with Thibodeau there.

Gibson is a very important piece though.

Every championship caliber team needs a guy like him. That smart big off the bench who can do a bit of everything (and some things very well).

Wow getting SJ would be sick. Perfect fit for the Bulls.

I think Mayo is also better off-ball than Jackson, and so makes a better match with Rose on offense. If I were Chicago, I would prefer Mayo over Jackson for the next several years.
