![]() Loose ball foul at 1:30
only watched till 2:30 but Fernandez is gonna be a real solid player (ala Manu) Oden though Im still not sold on. Solid pro yes, but Im just not prepared to say he is the best thing in the game today, dont even know if I would put him top 10 at his position. |

![]() Oden will be a monster.... defensively.
10+ boards... 2+ blocks a game.... offensive is another story. but when you excel at defense, offense isnt that big a deal and getting 10ppg isnt a stretch. portland just needs Oden for his D anyways... he'll be a star. |

![]() i really like watching these guys play. pritchard has done something magnificent with that franchise. the amount of young talent and tradable assets, not to mention financial flexibility is astounding.
i love nate mcmillan. so fun to watch and will probably own the western conference, depending on how their resigning and meshing goes, for the next decade. even if they don't, it'll be fun watching them move the ball and play above the rim. |

![]() I keep hearing about Oden not being great offensively, but honestly, he doesn't look that bad to me.
With his size and speed combo, a catch - spin/drop step - dunk is more effective a move than most centres in the league have, and he could hit the hook with both hands in college. I seem to recall Dwight Howard functioning pretty well with limited offensive skills, and Oden is certainly more polished than he was. |

with his size, speed, and athleticism getting 10 points per game will be par for the course. all he really has to worry about is defense and rebounding... the offense will come without really trying. and the great thing about his situation is that he wont be relied upon to score on a portland team that is stacked offensively. |

![]() guys, 1 game played.
give me at least 1 month of games before I get on his dick like everyone else. Howard, Ming, Bynum, Jefferson, Horford, Shaq I would put ahead of him right now. JO, Camby, Chandler, Okafor and Bogut would be at same level right now |

![]() Snooch, you'd honestly put Shaq right now as an upper tier C?
I find that people are really split on Oden. Either people love him or really hate him. Guess what, if we had him right now on our team, the entire board here would be creaming their pants at the prospect of him and Bosh together. |
