I haven't been following his story other than him apparently going cray on twitter cause of his anxiety of flying? Why did he choose nba as his career if he fears travelling? Did he not expect to travel? Or did he think he'd overcome it? I mean you kinda don't get over anxiety over night.. Wouldn't it take him years? Isn't it a slow process?

I think it's great he got this far as an NBA player and hopefully he doesn't give up trying to get over his anxiety of travelling. Maybe a team will sign him, but I think it'd be smarter if he gets over his anxiety before returning because people have a hard time sympathizing an irrational fear of flying when you're givin millions of dollars to do so.

damn, he's really good isn't he. And all of that stuff is nba transferable. Good rebounder, excellent handles, great distribution. Very impressive.

I'll never understand why he couldn't play home games at least.

He should become a controversial basketball writer and call his column Anxious Tip-Off.

And if you think I'm joking, I'm not.

You cant be an integral part of the rotation and only play 50% of the time.

Traveling arrangements didn't cost him any games. He missed the season because he refused to practice and did a bunch of drama. His career was over before the 76ers trade, tbh. Soon after the trade, the 76ers GM said that the trade was about getting a Euro stash prospect, not White. Getting waived looked like a formality at that point.
