Rondo gets his cash good for him. I hope he enjoys losing during the back end of that deal.

Celtic would've been stupid not to sign him, he's really a pace-setter and difference-maker on the court. All the talk was just the usual negotiation process. With Rondo intact, I believe C's take the East although it pains me to say so.

Well I dunno the C's aren't just as good anymore. KG and RAY RAY getting older and the same goes with the Truth.

Celtics were my team before the Raptors came to town (I know I dunno why I did the switch but it had to do something with supporting the home team) so when the Raps are out they'll always be my second choice.

The C's really had no choice.

If they want another shot at a title they NEED Rondo and what he brings to the floor.

It doesn't really matter that they're older, the talent's still there and no injuries. From what I've seen, Celtics have that aggressive mindset and hunger in place that they were missing last year and KG's leading the charge. I watched them bury N.O. last night and they looked like a team on a mission. All I'm saying is its going to be very hard to unseat them this year.

Fuck Rondo. Can't stand that duche. Especially after the last night's game against Paul.

I seriously think he's way over rated. And I don't give a shit about him or the Celtics. What a classless/pussy team (except Ray Allen).

Somebody else would have paid it, maybe more, if he plays strong and he helps them go deep into the playoffs.

On the surface it may appear that way, but the CBA may make it difficult for the Celts not to bring Allen back. The Celts are over the cap and have a few other expiring contracts, aside from Ray Allen's. If guys like Tony Allen and Marquis Daniels walk, the Celts will be thin in the backcourt and on the wings. They already don't have a real back-up point, so the loss of a couple of wings would be devastating. The Celts need to fill roster spots somehow. I think it will come down to Ray Allen's personal priorities, and what other players are demanding. I mean, Ray Allen has buckets of money and is a pretty humble guy compared to most of the league, so maybe he'd be willing to take a big pay cut, or sign a short term deal. Rasheed took a big pay cut, although the market forced that, I guess.

why not? I could see him extend for a couple years if they don't win the title this year
would be sad to see the best shot in the league go away

Morrison has such a sweet deal. I think he actually makes over 5 million a year. If you're not going to play, you might as well live in LA and collect a ring. LA can be a lot of fun when you've got the money to enjoy it.
