I couldn't decide whether this was better suited for the Entertainment forum or the Podium, or NBA talk. That's Ron Artest for you. A complex individual.

Ron Artest does some wild things. I really believe we are all complex just that Artest is wired a bit different than other people. The more I see of him the more I can understand the guy.

There is also a really good documentary on ESPNs E:60 on artest. Worth a look

In the 2004-2005 seasons he was suspended for the final 73 games of the regular season, including playoffs, with out pay for the Brawl in Detroit.

In his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls, he was criticized for applying for a job at Circuit City in order to get an employee discount.

He once attended a practice with the Indiana Pacers in a bath robe.

He was suspended for two games in the early 2004–05 season by Pacers coach Rick Carlisle after he allegedly asked for a month off because he was tired from promoting an R&B album for the group Allure on his production label

And then you get this:

E:60: Ron Artest In L.A. - ESPN Video - ESPN

I support Ron Artest because I do believe he is one of the best lock down defenders in the NBA. He has a chance to prove it this year by being more effective than Ariza was last year. Personally I see it happening he is 29 just a couple years off his prime.
