THE WORM!!!
well deserved.

Don Vito 04-01-2011 08:34 PM

He deserves it. The only reason the bulls won the 2nd 3 peat is because of Rodman.

LX 04-01-2011 08:57 PM

one of my favorite players

jeffb 04-01-2011 08:58 PM

Well deserved and about time imo.

MISAM38 04-01-2011 11:16 PM

Yeah they retired his jeresey 2nite as well. Fckin Greg Monroe change ur NUMBER!

Don Vito 04-01-2011 11:45 PM

Greg Monroe to ask Dennis Rodman if it is OK to wear No. 10 | Detroit Free Press | freep.com

Greg Monroe is a douche for doing this, how would he feel if he got his number retired and then some scrub was asking to use the number. Just change the dam number... wow I can't believe this, Rodman should shut him down.

MISAM38 04-02-2011 12:00 AM

Rodman is a nice guy, so even if he didnt want 2 i bet he wood still allow greg to wear his number. But Greg Monroe is a good player, and it seems like hes gonna be a big piece in Detroit's future. He mite become a really good player but hes not gonna get his number retired, cuz it already was retired by RODMAN! MAn doesnt he want to stand out and a have a number ppl will remember him 4?

greatest rebounder of all time.

Superjudge 04-02-2011 12:23 AM

A moment few know about, or remember.... 1993.

Quote:

Dennis Rodman says he had no thought of committing suicide last month when, in an admitted state of despair, he took a .22-caliber rifle loaded with hollow-point bullets and headed out into the early morning in his huge Ford pickup.

Rodman says he only wanted to relieve some tension. For hours, he says, he had sat alone inside his lakefront home, staring at the bedroom of the 4-year-old daughter he has not seen in five months except for her curly-haired visage tattooed on his left forearm.

Rodman says thoughts of her pile up relentlessly, one on top of the other, until he can see nothing else. How will I live without her? What is she doing now? What can I do to see …
Anyhow, Chuck Daly was his coach back then and apparently helped him a lot during this difficult time. Depression is a terrible condition that Millions of people battle with everyday. I'm happy for Dennis Rodman. Call him what you want, the guy could ball, and he fought through some hard times, and continues too.

ok, best of all time is a stretch.

I'd put him 3rd on that list. behind Bill Russell (2) and Wilt Chamberlain (1). Still ahead of Moses though.

Who is inducting him? I think it should be Jordan.

Superjudge 04-03-2011 01:08 PM

Oh yes, Jordan with a microphone is always nice..... He'd find a way to make it "his night" instead of Rodmans.

last thing you want is Jordan with a microphone in his hand

here's hoping the worm shows up in his wedding dress

Barracuda 04-03-2011 01:28 PM

Whoever inducts him, it'll still be entertaining. It's just Rodman's way!

I don't think he'll come in a dress considering he didn't do that at the Pistons Jersey retirement hanging. He has two kids who looked to be around 8-10 years old so I doubt he does something negative that would make him look to be a bad remodel in front of his kids now that they are able to realize these things.
