Rockets Rockets get Johnny Flynn

NBA draft 2011: Houston Rockets acquire point guard Jonny Flynn in trade with Minnesota Timberwolves - ESPN

Quote:
The Rockets sent the rights to Nikola Mirotic, the 23rd pick, and No. 38, along with Miller and a 2013 first-round pick, to acquire Flynn and Montiejunas.
houston keeps making great trades. they gave up very little for a high potential PG.

true, it will depend on the draft class and how houston does that season. however i do believe they will be a playoff team by then. that is just me though.

Flynn had a wicked hip injury. Sometimes that kinda thing will take a minimum of 2 years to fully recover. Lowry starting and Dragic off the bench as a combo guard will work well for Houston. Jordan Hill is improving, Scola's a frickin' stud, Budinger can fly. Give Flynn a little breathing space until he can regain some of that eye opening speed and power that we saw in his rookie season, and get a good head coach, Houston has themselves a playoff team.

It's too bad they're in the west. A lot harder to crack the playoffs...

The Funny thing is that Motiejunas is probably the better than Flyn in this situation.

Yeah, I'm Lithuanian and I have read Houston forums and they like the guy, they like what are future plans for him and coach is very good in training PF's. So I will say D-Mo is going to be a good player and if someone thinks he lacks of passion for this game, let me just add he won MIP(uropean) award.

Yeah, averyone forgot Donatas.
Motiejunas is very risky. He he has so much potential. If he will translate his game, hes gonna be very special. I am not a fan, the guy is so cocky, but he can play. Good to see him on the same team as his idol, Luis Scola.
