Pistons Rip unhappy in Detroit?

Source

Quote:
Pistons' guard Richard Hamilton has struggled with the trade of longtime teammate Chauncey Billups and seems hesitant alongside Allen Iverson and Rodney Stuckey.

Detroit coach Michael Curry has been mulling over a decision to bring either Iverson or Hamilton off the bench because he would prefer to go with a bigger lineup for defensive purposes.

Hamilton has a reputation of being an emotional player, and although he's a team player, going to the bench might cause even more unhappiness for him in Motown.

Hmmmmmmm.......

Rip in Toronto would simply be a dream ..... BUT .... will never happen. We don't have anything they want and I don't see them biting on JO right now.

Actually yeah that's true, I remember seeing a picture of them for that one survivor challenge that is going on in this forum right now. They weren't too impressive.

So Rip continues to be a dream.

Really though, I could see them biting.

Fixes the problem of AI/Rip and who starts, gives solid front court help to the team who needs a little inside offense and defense.

Stucky, AI, Prince, JO and Sheed is deadly.

The icing on the cake is that Detroit would have 25 million in cap space this offseason and 23 million next.

He is a great, but I dont think we need another jumpshooter. Will his defense looks as good in a team like Toronto?

Agreed, thats whay a three way deal would need to be done.....

Utah, Detroit and Toronto

Mostly involving Rip(utah), JO(Detroit) and AK47(TO)

I don't know what they look like because I see the 07-08 crew on the Raps site.

Maybe RF should set up a reality show to add some spice to the pack. We'll be the judges

I would absolutely love AK-47 in Toronto.

Just not with that disgusting contract.

I dont see how a Rip for JO trade shuldnt be discussed. DET wants cap room in 2010 and this will give it to them, and theyll have a decent shot at winning it all this year with an absolutely devastating defensive frontcourt vs the small frontcourt they have now. Makes sense for both sides I think.

I'd say no to a JO for Rip thing

On paper it looks like a steal but as a SG on the wrong side of 30 do he probably has like 2 great years left, are we really going for it all in the next two years? I'm not betting on Jose/Rip/Bosh/Bargs... I dunno. I'd rather get a lottery pick this year, sign Marvin or Odom, then build from there to contend in 3-4 years or so when Bargs is comfortable and experienced. If Roko's legit we can probably get a SG of Rip's value for Jose next year, maybe.

3 way could be good as mentioned though

problem is that there's a ten million dollar difference between Rip and JO. There's no possible way we'd be able to work anything out with them unless it's for iverson straight up.
