The Kanter pick wasn't a troll move though, because I think his point was to get a big and a PG, if I remember correctly. And he didn't think Kanter would be available at 4, so he tried to get the best big (he thought) and then a PG for Cleveland at 4.

Not picking Davis would be a total troll move.

Did you notice that both Anthony Davis and Kanter have small foreheads? Funfact

You are correct. I thought it was obvious that Irving might be better than the pther pg's, but not by much, so I wanted the best most physically solid big guy, then a top level PG. Thats all.

I dunno about this Davis guy though, I'm not sold yet. In the Tourny i saw two Kentucky games, he was good, but the other kid looked better ( i know he isn't) Jones.... he seemed way more physical, and overall ,ore active.

We shall see draft day!

Ya, I hear ya. Thats what makes armchair scouting for the draft hard...ya see some highlites, a few games etc and these guys start looking great.... but its easy to forget, the NBA is full of guys who were great.... exept the best of the best who start, they are mostly ALL big, and mean and awesome.

i suppose it depends on what the point of this mock draft is. there was exactly 0 chance of cleveland actually picking kanter #1 last year. 0. which means that, if we are actually trying to get at approximating the draft, or perhaps even putting our members in place to make realistic decisions on behalf of the teams for whom they are picking, it becomes an instant failure for the top several picks when the obvious #1 doesn't go #1.

kyrie irving was an obvious #1 last year. i'm pretty sure sj, although he made a case for what he was doing, also enjoyed throwing the whole top-5 into flux by picking a dude that would never be picked at that spot.

not trolling, surely, but it fucked it all up. dudes were saying so at the time too.

Yeah, if we're trying to be as realistic as possible, then it fucked up the order.

Who the hell said we were supposed to do it how we thought it was gonna go, wtf fun is that. Thats the most ridiculous thing I ever heard man. Ir's OUR mok draft. We all get to pick a team and then we get to make our own picks.

And if my pick was so bad, and so stupid, what th fuck was the Tristan Thompson pick that got us JV?????????? Did ys have that on your list?

Meh, I picked how I wanted to pick and to be honest, if you're Cleveland, had it went that way, you arn't looking too bad right now.

i didn't say it was stupid, and i didn't say we were supposed to do it an any particular way. what i can definitely say is that kanter would have been an awful #1 pick, it was never a possibility that it would be a #1 pick, and it just served to make the top 5 or so picks in the mock draft have no bearing upon reality.

it wasn't really a big deal, but, as acgm said earlier, if you don't pick davis first, that's just a troll move.
