I honestly think this Russian will get out of this ownership deal in the future.
Lots of shit happening in Russia right now that will definitely keep him away for awhile. But we're all praying that Deron, Dwight and Dirk team up and go for it. That would be a scary, scary team. |

Re: how good NJ would be if they had D-Will and D12
1 -it's worth noting that NJ has already met their commitments to Utah for D-Will. The remaining pick that Utah receives will come from GS. 2- These are the assets NJ would probably have to give up to obtain D12. They might not all go to Orlando, if it's a multi-team deal. But these are the pieces that would probably leave: -Brook Lopez -Marshon Brooks -1st rounder from Houston still owed to NJ -2012 1st rounder of NJ -Expiring contracts of Humphries and Okur Two respectable prospects + 2 picks + subtantial financial relief should be enough to get it done 3 - In this scenario, NJ manages to keep Anthony Morrow 4- Turkoglu probably goes to NJ with D12 as part of the financial relief. So, NJ has a lineup of.... D12 Petro Turkoglu Morrow D-Will Not amazing but it's a start. They'd have a bit of cap space to fill out the bench with vets. And then they could build through the MLE the following season. Within a year, I think they'd have a decent bench. Look how quickly Miami built a bench. |
Think if the Nets kept Lopez, D-Will, and still found a way to get Dwight...
it'd be the anti-layup team |
So the NBA is still all about star players stacking teams.
What was that lockout all about again? |

As was stated numerous times when the lockout ended, it'll take 2-3yrs before this type of stuff can be curbed. To what degree though remains to be seen. |
