The same poster on RGM that first reported him leaving the team and then that it could be serious posted again today saying Nene indeed has cancer. Best wishes to Nene and his family.

Yeah, that's tragic .... the guy's had bad luck ever coming into the league. Had he been healthy the sky was the limit for Nene. He's young and I'm sure he'll beat this and I expect him to come back even stronger. Hopefully they caught before it spread.

Phew ... that's amazing news. So he'll be likely resting for a few more weeks and then be back in the line-up for the Nuggets. Great news indeed.
