I looked at the list quicky and didn't even see Evans. Rubio I left off just because he's played what 2 NBA games. We still don't know how good he'll be.

ValanciunasFanboy 12-28-2011 10:31 AM

Wow you guys are very high on Collison.
Imo, his basketball IQ / court vision is pretty low. I have no idea how he got that awesome stats run with Honets. Anytime I see him, he's like a headless chicken. He runs fast, thinks slow.
And no love for Jrue Holiday?
I understand Tyreke, but Jrue is healthy, a good person, young, big, very talented and cares about defense.

1. Griffin.
2. Curry.
3. Harden.
4. Jrue Holiday.
5. DeMar.
6. Tyreke Evans.
7. Jennings.
8. Ty Lawson.
9. Taj Gibson.
10. Collison.

???????????????? Rubio
It's too early to decide for me on his spot. But he was very impressive in the first game. I didn't watch the second. I'll have to wait a year to judge. They also need to trade Beasley. Based on the first game, he could be top 5.

Given all the money Minnesota spent on free agent PGs since 2009 (Ridnour, Sessions, and Barea), the fact that they overlooked Steph Curry and traded away Ty Lawson must really feel like kick in the nuts.

Denver says thanks for drafting Lawson for them. :reporter:

Edit - BTW, I'm not trying to play captain hindsight here; I just find it funny that Minny went after so many point guards, which is odd, and managed to fuck it up so badly during a year when the point guard position was so deep.

It still pains me that we couldn't find a way to move up and land Curry.

He would have been PERFECT here.

That actually pretty funny haha. I remember when the Hawks NEEDED a PG and passed up on both Paul and D-Will to draft Marvin Williams lol.

No, no, jeff, Babcock would not be part of a team that would pass on Steph Curry and trade Ty Lawson...then sign Ridnour and Sessions who are less talented and cost more money...oh wait.

Big difference here is that you're not only using hindsight. The moves looked dumb when they happened and the future proved that to be the case.
