I'm disappointed that BC did not get anyone, considering some of the players involved in transactions.

Winners? Losers?

I think the Knicks are the obvious winners. OKC got the steal of deadline in Perk. It will be interesting to see if the thunder can convince him stay come the off season. Same goes for D-will in New Jersey.

I think the Raptors are the big Losers in this one. Our division just became the most competitive in the league. I think there will be some big changes in the off season, and I am kind of glad there were no rash trades made. Which we all know would have been futile at this point.

Looking back at all previous trades ever made in NBA history, I don't think any of them surpass this one. Good job BC :thumb:

i understand some of you are mad that BC didn't make any more moves, but what did you REALLY expect? i think him picking up johnson is a very underrated move considering he is exactly what we needed from the 3, a stopper. you guys have to look at it this way, while some teams are gutting there roster for today's stars, BC is looking to get the stars of tomorrow. people might not agree but we have a pretty good future in Bayless/DD/JJ/ED/AB add in a potential top 5 pick and it looks promising. maybe i'm too optimistic, maybe i'm delusional, but i know i'm not the only one that see's a bright future.

Sorry, you went to far. Everyone know that trading a future second rounder for Alabi is better than the Johnson trade.

balllife 02-24-2011 08:19 PM

could someone explain y bobcats would trade their best player?:confused2:

+1

These players we got failed in their past systems but the thing is they are still very young and who knows maybe in our system things can change. The future looks promising.

Sir, I am sorry but I think you need to take a step back and think about what you said.

I agree... we should have traded Jeff Green, Reggie and a first rounder for Perkins and nate robinson

Yeah... some people think that because some good names were moved, we had the pieces to acquire them.... lol

OKC won bigtime. Especially if Ibaka and Perkins mesh like many think they will turning OKC into a defensive powerhouse. Great under the radar pickup getting Mohammed as well.

Blazers also won bigtime. GWall is a Laker killer and will make POR even better on defence.

JDMtors 02-24-2011 09:38 PM

Wish the raps were able to make another trade before the deadline. I agree that OKC really were the biggest winners in this draft. They got what they needed and that was Perkins.

Beesh 02-24-2011 10:49 PM

another trade deadline passes for the raptors..keep em coming

jj33 02-24-2011 10:57 PM
