Curry Loses Another 10 Pounds

According to multiple sources, Eddy Curry has lost another 10 pounds since the Knicks last saw him in Las Vegas last month.

As of Tuesday, Curry is said to be at about 318 pounds, which is near his ideal weight.
I am loving his determination right now. He knows hes fat. Sadly, I doubt he will get any where under 300 pounds. I still think that he will be a good role player this season for the Knicks. Much better than last season :P

I lose 10 lbs when I skip desert. Talk to me when he loses 75.

He's a friggin pro baller, he's supposed to be in shape. Why is nobody praise the 300 some ballers who stay in shape all the time? Good for Curry, he lost some weight he never should have put on.

10 pounds on Curry is like talking a bucket of sand from the beach. ;)

Whatever he loses, he'll find again by Christmas. :haha:

You'll see.

Guys from the EBS days will remember... I told you all his day was coming.

If get to 310, 300, with decent cardio, he will rip Toronto's front court in half.

Apollo 08-12-2009 01:12 PM

I'm not worried, no one doubts he can score but the man doesn't know how to use his body. He can't box guys out, he can't rebound on either side of the court and he doesn't know how to guard or block shots. He's a one way player who is lazy.

I believe his recent resurgence is to insure that:

A.) He doesn't wash out of the league
B.) He can find a way out of NYC
C.) His contract runs out in two seasons...He will need to be marketing himself for another pay day.

Superjudge 08-12-2009 01:13 PM

ok, you just described the Raptors front court so...... what?

Apollo 08-12-2009 01:22 PM

My point is that Curry is lazy and has no desire to do much of anything on a consistent basis and I don't agree with you.

Andrea Bargnani can rebound on the defensive side and he does not rebound on the offensive side because he plays the perimeter. He needs to get better but at least he's shown signs of getting better. Andrea can affect shots and he does make blocks.

Rasho can guard and rebound.

Evans can guard and rebound.

Bosh can do everything a lot better than Curry outside of back to the basket low post scoring.

INSIDER 08-12-2009 02:24 PM

the fact theat we're even discussing Curry is funny to me.
that guy is washed up.... you think him losing 10 pounds really matters? call me when he loses 50. 10 pounds for curry is probably 3 days of dieting. in other words, its NOTHING. when he diets for a month, then thats something to write about... and only then will i consider that Curry is having a worthy comeback attempt.

Renihan_00 08-12-2009 02:56 PM

Man that is NOTHING. It's 3% of his weight.

He could take that off just by sweating and I'm not even joking.

Wow. 318 lbs is a lot. If he uses his size well, he can definately be a dominant big man. Curry has some potential. In 2 or 3 years he has a chance to be a good center. For right now, he needs to get in shape and work hard.

Been hearing that for how many years now? It's never going to happen. He has not heart or desire to make it happen.
