Gurk 07-06-2012 01:55 PM

I hope he loses any bit of his shot that remains. Fuck the heat.

LKeet6 07-06-2012 01:56 PM

jeffb 07-06-2012 01:57 PM

Crose 07-06-2012 01:58 PM

I thought he was better than this

LET'S GO RAPTORS!!!!! 07-06-2012 02:00 PM

nice pickup for the heat. Now then can play a Wade/Allen backcourt.

carp 07-06-2012 02:03 PM

Just leave him wide open..... he can't shoot anymore! lol

Sad, but whatever. Surprised they don't chase a bigman

Ataf 07-06-2012 02:04 PM

lmao cmon, it's w/e... So what if he joins the heat? How does that make his character any worse? In my mind makes the Heat more likable. :reporter:

to the team that just beat his beloved side 2 years in a row in the play-offs!?

call me naive but i see all these players who are great pros, you think they're great guys and then you're reminded they're all mercernaries.

i guess i'm just too romantic about sports.

DSWC 07-06-2012 02:07 PM

Ugh (about sums up my thoughts)

dude, there is no loyalty. these people are employees/workers. all those people complaining about teams like Man City in soccer, look at Nasri, for example, he decided Man City was a lot more viable option financially.

In Allen's case I'm assuming he wanted to play with a great team as opposed to getting the most $ he could get.

Who the hell is Incarcerated Bob ‏@incarceratedbob??

Raptors1995 07-06-2012 02:16 PM

He should have remained with the Celtics. I heard Celtics offered him a no trade clause. Celtics have a lot more depth this year.

box92 07-06-2012 02:19 PM

this incarnated bob is wrong more than half the time, not a legit source

Superjudge 07-06-2012 02:20 PM

lame.

NBA players are the softest, weakest charactered athletes on the Planet. It blows me way that these guy think they are building "legacies" nowadays. Those rings don't mean shit, they are fake rings.

there are still enough great guys around in "soccer" and basketball that it keeps you thinking there could be a lot of good guys.

soccer has been almost totally ruined coz it started from a place where loyalty was a huge thing to mercenaries now. Bball has always been a business but the game love its stories and personalities as well.

I'm surprised Ray went to the heat, i really am. All that hate for the heat in the locker room, which you know was there, for motivation, 2 years in a row in the play-offs! And he just goes to that team.

Superjudge 07-06-2012 02:23 PM

he goes because he's weak, couldn't do it on his own path, needs a manufactured legacy.

makes me sick really.

ya he needed 2 manufactured legacies actually. that 2007 celtics team was just as "manufactured" as this heat squad. via trade rather than free agency.

trade more to do with teams, FA more to do with players. Even if the player asks to move at least the team gets something back. Also it wasn't to a rival and both he and KG did it in a respectful way.
