Every major dynasty had several all stars to carry the team, Boston, Detroit, Lakers, even the Bulls had Jordan/Pippen/H.Grant then Jordan/Pippen/Rodman and a lot of great role players.

Like it or not the Heat are the next dynasty and everyone will hate them except the City they're in and a few scattered ardent fans.
Was Bulls hated back in then Jordan/Pippen years like Heat are now?
I'm not worried, Heat is not going to win many titles, because Wade is expiring rapidly. I'd say Durant will end up with more rings than Lebron

This is true. This is the greatest switcheroo since Moses sold out Jesus.

I hope the Heat DO get Camby and Lewis to go with Allen and they fucking squash OKC. Not because I actually like the Heat and certainly not because I can't stand the smug smiling, finger pistol blowing ass named Westbrook. Gonna love it because of the absolute insanity it will cause in Thriller - normally an extremely rational and well thought out poster that loses all common sensibility when the Heat get on a roll

every player between 30-40 that is a former allstar, or even close, has been rumored to go the heat

For good reason....those players still have skills, have made enough money in their careers to take the vet minimum and most haven't won a championship yet. In the end, every player wants to become Bukkake Bosh

Why is this even a big deal? Allen's on his last legs and he's pretty far from the dominant SG that he was when he was a Sonic.

Did people freak this much when Battier joined them last year?

If he gets healthier through the summer he will be knocking down 3's again, and in heat it will be peace of cake

Are you serious, man? I don't like Boston or they're players (I respect the hell out of them though), but Allen is a very good SG today. Dude shot 45% from three this past season taking over 5 attempts per game. That's RIDICULOUS. He will be open all day from three. He's not Battier, he won't shoot low 30's from three the entire season (Battier stepped up in the Finals though). Allen is possibly the best three point shooter of all time and he'll be getting good looks all game.

LeBron is pretty much PG for that team anyways so you can can Wade and Allen in the backcourt. Or even have Allen play the 3 with a ridiculous small-ball lineup of:

Chalmers
Wade
Allen
Bron
Bosh

That's unstoppable. Think of the space that's created for LeBron and Wade to attack. Just crazy.

if Camby joins the Heat they should start planning a parade for 2013. unstoppable.

as long as LeBron is the leader of the team and they keep signing veteran ring chasers they will never stop winning.
