Once again, only time will tell. I don't know lol Gasol/Odom/Bynum seems like they could be better than a Shaq.

Also, Shaq won with Wade..Can't say anything about Shaq not winning without Kobe

you - they added brand therefore your statement is invalid

i guess we have different perceptions on creating an arguement.

i believe philly has a solid team as well, but i also believe that a lot of prove before we can consider them a home court team come next may. i still rank us strongly ahead of them. i also don't think o'neal will disrupt any chemistry on our team whereas brand most likely will with them.
I had no intention of saying your statement was invalid. I simply meant that I would expect Philly to improve significantly more than we did, and that I consider Philly a much bigger threat in the East than Toronto of a year ago.

I still rank us ahead of them too, and I agree they have a lot to prove. So do we though, and so does basically every team in the East besides Boston and Detroit.

But again...the statement wasn't originally intended as argumentative. I agree that they won't be taking anyone by surprise this year, but wanted to add that a huge pick up in the offseason should soften that blow, and they won't be as affected by it from a wins and losses standpoint as the Raptors were.
