he got in the face of a guy who dropped his teammate. thats all. i wish all guys would back their teammates like this.

From watching the game, it looked more like a temper tantrum after Humphries set a hard pick on him at the other end.

Here's something he could've learned on his time off: no matter how valuable he thinks he is as an "enforcer" or bodyguard, he is more valuable playing on the court. If he could keep his emotions in check (and let's be honest, this has always been a problem for him), then he might be able to ultimately help the team more. This is, reportedly, what Doc was trying to tell him, but of course that did not sink in with Rondo at all.

I can't remember the game correctly but I think Hump had just blocked or dunked on him a few plays ago, and he couldn't keep his emotions in check. That's something I would expect from a child, not a seasoned veteran. He needs to understand that he's the general when running the Celtics, and them losing him for two games isn't worth it.

its sad that this incident is considered a 'fight' in todays NBA. how exactly was this a fight?
this was a guy (who plays passionately) getting in the face of a known dirty player after he put a hard foul on a teamate.
i would hope any raptor would do the same... and i would bet money if one of our guys did - he'd be applauded for it.
why do you think the C's are feared around the league, and why they get respect from other teams? because they dont let other teams walk over them and they stand up for themselves. this is why they are the team they are. its their style of play and it works.

That certainly was not a hard foul by Kris. And Kris was actually intelligent enough to not do anything drastic, he probably could have ruined Rondo. Result? He wasn't suspended.

If Humphries would've taken the shove and backed off Rondo would've prob. been T'd up and that would've been it.

But he DIDN'T just take the shove... he PULLED Rondo off the floor and then Rondo starting pushing back.

It's a joke that Kris was seen as "totally innocent" in all of this.

And people can say what they want about Rondo lol.... you all know that you'd be cheering your asses off if we had him here in T.O.
