If the NBA wasn't so stacked in PG, i'd put lowry.

However, barring injuries, I'd say Bargs will be our all star this year.

if DRose is still out come all-star break i think Lowry can make it as a reserve.

I agree with Metallikid's starting lineup for the east

reserves for the east
Gs: Rondo, Lowry (wishful thinking), Johnson
Fs: Pierce, Bosh, Amare
C: Hibbert

West starters
Lin
Kobe
Durant
Griffin
Howard
reserves for the west
Gs: Westbrook, Paul, Nash
Fs: Nowitzki, Love, Gasol
C: Gasol

Luckily Luckedout, I really think Lin will be left off of the ballot. Especially since he won't even be the starting PG on his team.

Lol he wont be left out the ballot, the all-star game is all about getting viewers and he'll bring a huge market. Plus theres always the option to write in a player not already on the ballot. As long as he's healthy he's there.

I sincerely hope you're wrong. And if he doesn't start there's no way in hell the coaches vote him in.

Sarcasm? Who is going to start ahead of Lin for Houston?

I could see Nash being the odd man out next year, even if he is still fairly productive. I wouldn't be that surprised if he put up 10 ppg and 11apg and got overlooked, given the Lakers' other fire power.

I'm actually really interested to see how the Lakers run their offense, and how they manage Nash's minutes. I wonder if Brown will structure the rotation in such a way that Nash plays a chunk of his minutes while Kobe is resting. If they end up playing a lot together, I'm interested to see how that works.

Paul
Parker
Westbrook
Lin (possible)

Nash's time might have passed, although he'll still be effective.

Maybe. It could happen; in my opinion, it just doesn't seem as likely as years past. Tony Parker really bounced back last year. Paul, Parker, and Westbrook will all, arguably, play a bigger role for their teams than Nash for the loaded Lakers. If they have good seasons, it will be tough for Nash.

Whoops. For some reason I thought Goran Dragic was still a Rocket.

I'm also surprised no one pointed out my John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins selections.

West Starters:

Lakers starting 5

reserves-

K-Love
JaVale McGee
Tony Parker
CP3
Blake Griffin
Durant
Harden

East Starters:

sorry, I'm too disturbed to think of the Eastern All-Stars right now, after seeing LaMarcus Aldridge getting jacked from yet another All-Star game.
