lol at barbosa for oden, theres no reason to pick him up and since barbosa has a player option for next season I dont think portland would want him to stay.

I'd rather someone who actually would play. If not, keep him and he's an 8Mil expiring come this time next season.

^ Doesn't sound all that surprising.

Seems like Oden's right knee was fine after he had microfracture surgery on it a few years back. Who's to say that his left one won't be the same after this season?..

A healthy Greg Oden would give this team EXACTLY what it needs. Good defensive player and good rebounder.

Considering how many times I have to read, get a defensive center in here and Bargnani will be good, (written on this board on a daily basis), I'm surprised there's resistance against Oden. Yeah, he's an injury risk, but so is every other big really. It's a perfect buy low opportunity.

Barbosa for Oden? Yep. Sign me up. Buy really, really low.

unless portland moves rudy and or roy they dont really have a need for Barbosa. I think it would take something else.

I stand by the idea of Kleiza/Weems/Dorsey

or would even do

Davis/Weems/Kleiza
for
Oden/Pick unprotected 2011

Use raps own to nab a sf (jones/jones/Barnes)(I think Irving is going number 1 and we aint getting number 1 pick)

Use portland to grab a pg (Walker/Knight/Smith) just in case Bayless doesnt get better once healed.

Jose/Bayless/Knight
Demar/Barbosa
Jones/Johnson/Wright
Bargs/Amir/Dorsey
Oden/Ajinca/Alabi

EXACTLY!!!

Oden would be a perfect fit if healthy here. Heck if healthy he is a perfect fir for probably every NBA team. Take a chance and pray he can stay healthy. If he does you win big. If not it is not like you loss much. We're rebuilding anyways. So this would be a great chance to take.
