Homer glasses to the ninth degree man. Just brutal.
Brutal? How did Portland do this year? With two stars in LaMarcus and Lillard... 33-49? Brutal. How do you not see this?

If you want to crown him, then crown him, but Lillard is who we thought he was. He's a good young player but he's not a star yet.

I've got two for you guys.

Greg Monroe or Andre drummond? I'd Take Monroe but the upside to drummond is huge and he's showing it

Greg Monroe or Demarcus cousins?

Here's another, this ones a bit different so hopefully you guys are ok with it.

If all 3 Reach their potential who would you take between JV anthony Davis and Andre drummond?

I'd say 1 drummond 2 David 3 jv although all 3 would be all star material

Drummond, Monroe, Cousins in that order. Drummond looked like the Pistons' best player in quite a few games this year.

Tobias Harris or Derrick Williams?

Harris drafted 19th in 2011,Williams 2nd in 2011
Both can play SF or PF

I'm going with Harris.

Are we picking orders for potential over reality or reality over potential? Cause honestly I would take Cousins/Monroe/Drummond. D.Cousins, once he gets his emotions in check will put more distance between him and the other 2. Monroe is a solid 2-way with more upside and Drummond, well, whatever.

Does it matter were either is drafted? Ily was taken in the second round and I would take him over both.

If I had a choice though between those 2, D-will or Harris, I would take Harris but really, to me, they are pretty close at the moment.

i agree, harris just exploded when he was traded to orlando. derrick williams has yet to step up in minnesota when the team needed him the most when injuries destroyed that roster.

I'd pick Henson, I think there's more upside.

I'd pick Harris because he's actually shown the perimeter skills necessary to succeed as a combo forward. Plus he had some huge games.

"prospect you would add to the Raptors". reality+upside.

i think Monroe is the best of that group right now and i think he can get quite a bit better. He basically needs to add a reliable jumper (Al Horford-ish, not asking for Bosh here) and then he could be the best offensive big in the league. But i'm not confident he'll develop that jumper.

I'm even less confident about Cousins head and especially how long it will take. A guy you can rely on at 24 > a guy who will mature by 28, because you get a smaller window for your team.

Drummond is physically more gifted than either of them, he seems a nice guy and yet he has the nastiness in-game, and he's already a top 15 center as one of 3 or so youngest players in the league. More likely then there's a "next step" in a couple years for him.

My favorite player in that group is Monroe, by far. But Drummond would be my bet as far as best career. I also like his fit with Jonas - as long as Jonas can develop a reliable mid range jumper, which i believe he can.

yeah, that's the ultimate now vs. upside pick. I think Henson's defensive ability will ultimately make him a nobrainer choice in 5 years. It would be fun to look back at it.

I can see if Monroe added a jumper, that he would excel even more offensively but over Cousins? not likely to me. Drummond, meh, few good games but unlike the other 2, he'll be watching from the bench when the game matters. I'll wager he takes a step back this coming year after teams decide to key in on him.

For prospect centers, JV over them all. Best chance imo to develop a real solid and consistent 2 way game.

No,it was kinda like a tale of the tape but considering that and what you mentioned about Ilyasova,it's a reminder that if home work is done,a good player could be selected almost anywhere in the draft.

Here's another,a tough one

Jimmy Butler or Lance Stephenson?

I think right now, I'd take Stephenson but it's close.

How about a wing combo of Barnes AND Leonard.... > Gay and DD.

I love Jimmy - no one saw that coming, well, me anyways. Both are great but I give the edge to Jimmy as his defense is better. Don't get me wrong though, I would take both over DD in a New York minute. Sad considering where each 3 players were drafted.
