Talking PETERSON: Carter's Toronto Boos Were Louder Than LeBron's

Can we start a countdown sticky thread yet?

Peterson: Carter's Toronto Boos Were Louder Than LeBron's

Morris Peterson compared Thursday's return to Cleveland by LeBron James to when Vince Carter played his first game back in Toronto as a member of the Nets.

Peterson was with the Raptors before and after the trade that sent Carter to New jersey during the 04-05 season.

“The fans here, man…they can get pretty loud. They don’t forget anything. Yesterday I did watch the game and I think the boos that Vince got were a little louder.”

Peterson was in Toronto on Friday night playing the Raptors as a member of the Thunder.

That game (yesterday's) was pretty disappointing. I was expecting Mimi from Drew Carey to power bomb Lebron.

See i was thinking that last night. It always seems to me the sound for Raptors games seems louder and crisper. Everytime i watch games on TNT, NBATV i find the sound seems muffled down. I would say the set ups are different but i was thinking this last night, i bet it was damn loud in the arena.

What made me think that also is the way the TNT announcers and Barkley + crew were talking about the crowd. They were giving them a lot of props saying it was like game 7 in the NBA finals. I saw nothing like that on TV.

Here is some tweets from people at the game(TO(Owens WR) being one of them):

10:24 p.m.-- @ PDCavsInsider posts "Some poor guy in the upper deck waving his #LeBron Heat jersey was just doused with beer ... and escorted to door. This is getting ugly."

10:13 p.m.-- Several people have tweeted that a man tried to get onto the court and was hauled off by security. Things are getting a little tense in the stands.

9:20 p.m.-- Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens (@ terrellowens ) tweets “It's pretty rowdy up n here!! These r sum loyal fans!!! LBJ doesn't look rattled @ all." The crowd does not sound happy that LeBron has walked over to the Cavs bench to talk to Boobie Gibson during free throws.

The level that Carter still gets boo'd NOW is probably on par with what Lebron got.

The first return of Carter to TO was leaps and bounds ahead of what Lebron got.

I was at VC's first trip back, theres nothing that I've ever been to (sporting wise) that has ever topped that other than a football game. And I've been to lots of stuff.
