slightly less, George is up there. Third best SF in the game and top 5 wing player in the league.

it's close to that gap though. Agreed, you don't need to be called out, but George is a stud. Gay has severely regressed and it isn't close anymore. As for DD, he's in the tier of Evan Turner, who is actually really playing great.

dude, it wasn't even close since the regular season. He was already a top defender and had way more dimensions on offense than any Raptor. The only thing comparable was the efficiency and that was because he was adjusting.

I agree... I said the gap of DD to George was close to the gap of DD to Lebron.... George is amazing. Gay could have been that good, but he's just never gotten there and probably won't.

I will say though, in Gay's defense, at least the majority of his shot attempts last night were in or near the paint. He's just not hitting anything right now which makes him look terrible... but he's trying something different.

you know in ball video games, when your player is weak he gets bumped off the ball.. that what Gay reminds me off when he turns it over lol.. dude weak yo, Demar stronger then him

demar only seems stronger cause he's not taking it into the paint. Check out his shot charts, dude thinks he's a shooter.

He is a top10 SF, and thats bottom end of top10. Right behind Rudy Gay.

Overpaid

I even thought Chris Pauls contract was too high.. they will have good seasons in clip land, but they ain't winning

imo i would go with George but that's only because of potential, atm Gay is a better player

Fail.

There are so many differences, but I guess that if you only watch Raptors games, you have no choice but to attempt to compare everyone to a Raptor.
Win.

I have been telling my friends everyday to watch out for George if he develops the mid-range game. It looks like he's done that.

Yes he is though... Its not even close dude. You massively overrate Demar man. A lot of people here do. Hes good, but he's nowhere near a top level player. George is nearing superstar/one of the best in the game level.

your rite.. but if you read some of my posts in the other thread I basically said trade every one except Val, Fields, Handsborugh and Amir..

well.. when your team has been out the playoffs and losing every single year, that is what happens.. are expectations have dropped, and we put to much hope in players that don't have a high ceiling..

but the reason we overrate our players is because we wan't to believe they will be superstars one day.. but that is how bad we have been. I remember when vince left, and I was looking at Joey Graham to be the next guy to step in and do something.. now that is desperate
So you've argued for a while that hes not 50 mill better, I argue against it and you just isntantly say "you're right" That made it no fun man.

If you haven't noticed yet though, Demar won't ever be a all-star/superstar or anything of the sort. Hes a soft one dimensional player that doesn't have the balls to drive to the basket, and doesnt have the stroke to be a shooter.

I'd HAPPILY pay 50 mill extra or even more if I had to, to turn DD into George. Same goes for Gay.

Demar is streaky, not a good shooter, not a great defender, inefficient, doesn't rebound or assist at an above average level..

PG was a freaking all star last year, and the MIP, All NBA third team and All NBA Second defensive team an this was all done in the regular season before he was 23. And in the playoffs he played like a freaking superstar. This man earned every penny with that performance and had he not gone up against the stacked Miami Heat, he would have been an NBA finalist.

Demar, is still learning to shoot, at 24. In fact, many here don't even agree with the money we gave him and rightfully so. If you take away the injuries and the decent rebounding, with Demar DeRozan, we have the next Corey Maggette. George is taking Indiana places, and it's because of him, some pundits believe that Indy have a chance against Miami. Demar's biggest claim to fame so far? A loss in the dunk contest.

George took that next step and I'd definitely take him over Gay now. He is playing like Max player, I want to see if he can keep it up. On the side note Pacers are scary

Yep, way before this season. They woulda taken Miami out if they had more than 5 players on their team last year.
