Heat Panathinaikos offer Chris Quinn a $6m deal

It seems like Obradovic finally decided to take revenge from Olympiacos and sign an American. Panathinaikos is offering Quinn a $5m/year deal for a three year contract.

More info next week.Stay tuned.

What do you think of this guy? I think he is just average and do not even deserver $500,000.

You know for the time being this is just a strong rumor in the manager's market. I'll get more accurate information soon.

A decent player to come off your bench, but there's no way he's worth $5 to $6 million.

Chris Quinn is not a star or maybe even a starter in the NBA for that matter, but he's decent. He proved when he got minutes towards the end of the year that he could play.

He only got those minutes because Wade, and Jason Wiliams were both injured. If not for that he wouldn't have gotten that many minutes

Yes, but my point was when he did play he proved himself to be a quite adequate 2nd or 3rd string PG.

Well that doesn't mean he is worth 6 mil to play at the 3rd string PG spot

He won't be a 3rd string PG in Europe.

i heart quinn. he doesn't necessarily have the athleticism to start in the nba, but he's a smart player and a floor general. kid wears his heart on his sleeve. he should take the offer, he'd thrive overseas.

He's gritty and he has adequate foot quickness to guard the other pgs in the nba. Offensively, he's selfless, he can shoot, and he routinely makes the right decision on pick and rolls. He just hasn't had the confidence to consistantly be successful in the NBA and that is the result of being a young player on a team where he has to defer to other stars instead of playing his game. At the end of the year when Riley was having "tryouts" for this season and giving heavy minutes to the benchers, Quinn got to be the floor leader and had some impressive outings. He could be a serious player in the NBA, let alone overseas once he feels he belongs.
