So now that the Lake Show have the coup of the offseason I think it's time to speculate, what stats will the big 4 collectively average?
I went for a rough estimate of 70ppg/30rbs/20ast/3blk/3stl for the combined stats of Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard. Do you think I got it right? (These stats averaged among four players: 17.5/7.5/5/.75/.75) |

if you could separate your personal vendetta against each guy from the basketball acumen of each guy, you'd realize that although they might be pricks (save for Stevie) the potential chemistry from the fit of their individual skills is fucking undeniable.
Personally I'm just excited to watch this team play basketball because in my opinion it's as close to a perfectly constructed basketball team as you're gonna get (save for some weak defense at the top, which in the end I don't think will hurt them too much). |

yeah, Stevie will definitely get some help, that's for sure, more help than he's ever had on defense...he's got two great defenders beside him on the wings and two moose behind him down low.

Man I'm so excited for World Peace. He's still among the best wing defenders in the game (some of the quickest hands you'll see too). And now he will be in shape from day 1. That's huge.

So suggesting that Nash and Dwight can accumulate a good number of turnovers, and that there is an overall slowness in play (as there was last season) is hating? Oh boy.
This team could be very good, but there will need to be adjustments, which takes time, and they will have to get through a full season with their health intact. |
