O'Neal and Moon playing well

O'Neal 17/10

Moon 12/2

I thought O'neal was injured?

Anyway, Marion has been a lot better than the Heat fans thought he was

Marcus Banks, not so much :sigh:

Hard to blame Moon for being shit in our system, our offense had no movement at all... he got 5 dunks today just from Wade setting things up for him. We never created for him.

JO looks on par with what he was with us.

I watched the game, Wade to Moon was an automatic connection this afternoon, and that's what they went to down the stretch. The Raptors system just wasn't the type for Jamario and I think in a Heat uniform you will see him flourish along side D Wade and company.

Same goes for JK. He would probably be awesome with the Spurs.

Raptorfan27 02-22-2009 09:42 AM

why would moon flourish, when marion didnt flourish there?
the heat run half-court for d-wade, not too many fast breaks?

Stonezz 02-22-2009 01:23 PM

good for them

poetics 02-22-2009 01:36 PM

both had big plays/days and games with us too!

jeffb 02-22-2009 01:43 PM

Moon will have a good game here and there, as he did with us. But long term he'll bite on pump fakes and settle for shitty shots. Marion didn't work there and he is 100x the player is! BTW Miami plays mainly half court like we do, and that ain't gonna change with JO, so Moon will go back to normal soon. Even though i kinda hope he plays well down the stretch and then gets a 3yr/10mil deal and then the Heat live to regret it.

Also, 12/2 is nothing to get excited about for any Heat fan.

Sure Moon will get some easy dunks with Wade setting him up. But Moon is a lazy, easy-to-fake defender. When Players are being gurded by Moon they love it. Moon will find his way to the bench once Miami realises that his offensive output does not outweigh his useless defence. It is also important to note that Moon is not an NBA calibre shooter he misses too many open jumpers, takes too many fade-aways (Which he misses mostly) and makes terrible offensive decisions.

+1 fletch and welcome to RF.

Apparently after their win last night Moon was quoted in saying the Heat are going all the way to the NBA finals this season. :cwm34:

Thanks. Glad to be here.

Moon is dumb to think that. I guess he forgot about Boston, Cleveland and Orlando (Who I think will have some new life with Alston at the point, though Nelson would obviously have been better).

Yeah, there 1 and 1 since they added him. I guess he'll put them over the top? lol
