The Rudy flop was more subtle than Reggie's. But not by much.

You get harrassed and pushed around by the floppy giant Gasol brothers for 48 minutes, and it's just a natural reaction to be angry.

It looked like he was trying to punch the ball, and Navarro protecting the ball with his shoulder, resulted in Nic's follow though to swing in tighter then expected.

If Metta World Peace did that you would be calling for his head and calling him a thug along with the rest of the Lakers.

Stop trying to defend what Batum did. It was wrong.

He was trying to punch the ball? lol wow. If by ball you mean balls, then yeah you're right.

Good luck! (You're gonna need it)

I've watched a bit of the US games, and I'm VERY impressed with LeBron's willingness to become a facilitator. He's a big part to their success, and almost looks like he's forcibly trying to get everybody involved to appease the players' egos.

Watching the US game right now and there are a few things I am noticing. First, they don't play fundamentally as good as the lessor teams, thy get by on having a nation of 400million and therefore just superior athletes. Second, they dont get the clls they are used to in th NBA, kobe just got whistled for travelling and laughed at the ref...sorry bud, three steps before you dribble is travelling. Lastly, they have an extra gear that is incredible.

Of special note. Is it just me, or is Lebron growing up? He seems like he's more of a man, less dickish.

Agree with all of your points. I love seeing the NBA stars getting called for things that should be called all of the time, and they're in utter disbelief.

I made a similar point (about LeBron) in the Finals' thread. 2 years ago, I really didn't like LeBron, but really liked DWade...but over the last couple of years, that position has almost reversed. It seems like LeBron has matured a lot over the last couple of years. I don't think he really liked being the "villain" and/or starting getting proper advice.

well I know he started seeing a sports psychologist, which I would imagine helped him immensely. As for the stars, hell, if they called the games in the NBA like they do here the parity in the league would be so much better. Watching durant sit with 3 is great, and fair, if the US team didnt have 12 allstars and that davis rook they wouldnt be winning so easily, problem is, foul one out, another clone just like him step son to th floor hahaha

I was at the gym and I saw that highlight of Batum punching someone in the balls. What an asshole.

Did anybody see Batum try and go at Jose after that "play" against Navarro? Jose just smiled at him like a fucking gangster.
