wow, i thought it was pretty much accepted that the game has grown massively round the world in the last 20 years!?

just as an example, you don't think argentina and spain are better now than they were then!?

none of the big teams are innocent of flopping. And lesser teams like GB and nigeria will start doing it when they become better!

i agree spain were bad tho, them and arg were the worst 2 for it.

Rudy is pretty annoying. CP3 should get a lot more shit too because he does it none stop. That thing where he pulls his arm up like if had been shot.

Chuck Daly > Coach K

In a landslide.

Dream Team sweeps Redeem Team, Lebron can only do so much. Before these Olympics I thought Redeem team was as good, but no chance.

Spain was still showing chemistry issues in the finals. Rudy is yelling at Jose, Jose is playing like he doesn't belong on the court, Sergio and just about everybody is yelling at Ibaka.

I'm not sure the Redeem team could of pulled out a win against a team firing on all cylinders.

He pulls his hip up like he's a dog taking a piss. Arm near his hip and he lifts his leg to draw attention to the arm as though he's getting pushed on the hip.

USA didn't have a great game today, spain played pretty much as well as they could. I think USA held it together fairly well under pressure.

the dream team were never really tested, woulda been interesting to see if their chemistry and dominant performances would've continued if they were truly tested.

1 game in 10, 1 team will play its best and the other team will play its worst and the far superior team can be beaten.

Spain played a Swiss Cheese zone for 40 straight minutes. They had a few players who had great games. I've seen Spain play far better in past seasons.

maybe you're right, it was by far their best performance of this tournament. I think this USA team makes your defence look like swiss cheese! do you over help and get killed by open shots or try and stick to the zone/man? hard decisions. I agree at times their defence was bad. at least they finally played inside and fought hard.

you say you've seen them play much better, was that against USA?

The US definitely has something to do with it, they're clearly the most skilled team in the tournament. I just don't think Argentina or Spain played their best basketball.

Russia was the only team that really showed me some good team chemistry and camaraderie in the tournament.

Olympic basketball NEEDS to leave this current format behind and go to something similar to men's soccer: under 2_ (pick an age, i'll go with 23) team + 3 players of your choice regarldess of age.

Same with hockey. Pro's don't really belong at the olympics if you ask me.

That's a terribly lame comparison. The dream team was something else but seriously this lovefest for the past is boarding silly. I'm sure the dream team also slew 7 giants at one time as well.

i like the idea but the only problem is it would make the competition even more 1 sided than it is now!

arg, spain, russia would lose all their good players and USA would still have a pretty sick team.

They didnt even bring all their best players and still smashed the entire tournament. That says enough.

I'm not even one of the real James haters but durant is just a much cooler, laid-back, genuine guy. His dance is well funny, love it. I love his face when he starts knocking down shots as well, the cold-blooded look.

edit: i have to say james' dance is really good as well!
