Cool Olympiacos interested in Deng now >>

Olympiacos have approached Deng through his agent to gauge the restricted free agents interest in leaving the NBA. And a source says that parameters far more lucrative than Childress's contract were discussed but Deng has a desire to remain in the NBA.

The only thing a little surprising about this is that Deng turned them down outright vs trying to use them as leverage to get a better Bulls offer.

But i'm not too surprised about this. People made a huge deal over Childress, even though I like his game, he really wouldn't have been anything other than a good 6th man on a playoff contending team. I never thought anyone who is a legit NBA starter with All-Star potential would even give the Euro League consideration. Even if you heard them saying they would, I doubt it's true.

Until Europe signs an All-Star away from the NBA, that is when I'll be worried.

I agree, any NBA starter can get what ever money they want within the NBA.No legit NBA star will go to Europe IMO.
