"Mayo said in a statement released by the team that he is extremely disappointed he will miss 10 games as the Grizzlies are making a push for the playoffs. He blames an over-the-counter supplement for containing a substance banned by the NBA and calls it an "honest mistake."

DHEA is produced by your body. I know some gym rats that take it. The NBA needs to update it's policy shit like this can actually help an athlete.

It's anti-aging thing. Clearly dangerous. It's hormone and should be use under the supervision, cause some NBA ballers aren't smartest guys.

I can't believe nobody read the article I posted, OR found the hilarious link to Mayo in it!

I'll post it for you all.....

[i]The gradual decline in the body's DHEA levels correlate with loss of muscle mass, decreased bone density, and a decline in immune function. A study by Mayo Clinic researchers, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, looked at the effect of DHEA supplements on markers of aging, such as muscle mass, muscle strength, fat mass, peak endurance and glucose tolerance in older men and women. /I]
