Knicks are apparently not done dealing. Rumour has it that Walsh also has a deal in place to trade Z-Bo to the Clippers for Mobley and Tim Thomas.

Stay tuned

This is the next best thing to a Raptors trade.
I just like how they're transforming that big pile of mess in New York.
I love transformations. LOL

They're making these moves getting themselves in place for the 2010 free agent sweepstakes. I think its pretty smart if Walsh can pull them all off.

Who would come off the bench, Randolph, Camby, or Kaman?

Probably Z-Bo, but I read somewhere the other day that Kaman's in Dunleavy's doghouse and the Clips are trying to move him now too.

if the knicks do this, all they are saying to the world is - we dont give a rats ass about this season, or next. we just want lebron.
Randolph is having a monster year under Dantoni... he looked like he was going to turn his career around again.... giving up 20/10 for spare parts is horrible.
but i guess if they do land Lebron in 2 years then the end justifies the mean.

Looks like Dallas might be involved too. I heard this pairing come up, sounds pretty logical: Dallas gets Kaman, Clippers get Randolph, NY gets Mobley, Thomas, Stackhouse (2010 contracts).

These salary dumps always look bad for the teams giving away the best players, then 2 years later when the team dumping those players gets cap relief they get a really good FA and get to the top of their conference.

NY better hope this scenario plays out for them too. Their fans are going to be in pain the next 2 years, but if they get Lebron or Wade itll be all worth it.

I like the trade for the Clippers, but not the Warriors.

Clippers get a guy who can replace what Brand got in the low post so Davis wont have to do EVERYTHING, and for as much flack as Randolph gets, the guy wants to win badly as any NY fan can attest to and hes one of the best low post players in the game today. He'll compliment Kaman and Camby very well.

Look for Kaman to be the next to go for a star sg.

JRich looks like he could be a solid bet to be that SG, I could see Charlotte going after Kaman. Maybe a 3 way deal where Dallas picks up JRich, I dunno.

Either way I think if they get solid value for Kaman, it'll be a decent deal for the Clippers. I think Randolph is as good as Kaman to be honest, so they'd be trading Mobley and Tim Thomas for whatever CK can get you, which could be a decent package, if it's true half the league wants him.

I expect the Knicks to trade all there players for players with expirying contracts for next year. I can see Walsh doing that much just to get LeBron

Why would Lebron go to a gutted team that has no support? Doesnt he already have that?

This is just the beginning, Walsh is doing serious house cleaning and with the scoring NYK just lost, they may be a lotto team. Pick + cap space for Lebron and perhaps more = good plan, you arent going to win in the next 2 years anyways, but show LeBron the $, the picks and perhaps 1 or 2 decent additions in one of the biggest markets in the world, im sure he wouldnt scoff at the idea.
