Apparently Orlando was offered Iggy but declined to keep him. That's why Denver came into the mix.

No doubt.

You either want to be a great team or really suck. Don't want to be stuck in the middle where it is hard to rebuild from it. Magic want back-2-back top 3 picks. Best way to rebuild. Added Iggy makes them more of a 8-10 type pick team. That does them no good.

Bosh has looked better and better guarding D12 one on one.

As D12 refines his offensive skills each year, his peers catch up a little bit in the strength department.

He'll never be on Shaq's level - as Charles Barkley always says, the weight is in the wrong hemisphere.

Lol, are you kidding? The only time Bosh stood a chance against Dwight was when he bulked up in Toronto that one year, he said himself he did it to play in the middle against guys like Dwight. Right now Bosh is looking skinnier than ever, he is going to struggle guarding Gasol... let alone Dwight.

"Old man strength" increases a little every year, regardless of build. I'm going by observation of like 7 minutes of watching Bosh guard D12 last year which isn't a great indiciator - but it's a better indiciator than judging purely on his physical appearance.

Just because he can "defend" non threats like Perkins, doesn't mean he's can do it against any center or even good PFs.

ok. So this silly part of the discussion can end.

So Bynum is gone and Howard is in. Interviews with both leaders of the Lakers produce "are you fucking kidding me" wide eyed looks before both Pau and Kobe claim they are incredibly excited about the moves made.

Are we really considering the Dwight Howard is or isn't going to be a force in the Middle on the Lakers? Really..... is this even rational...I mean by even the least knowledgeable blokes calculations... Are we about to say Bosh, or Lebron will take care of that guy?

It's easy to assume a guy is thi or that.... but the fact is, Howard has been the premier center in the league for while now, Orlando was never good, he made them good. What you're about to witness is what Howard will look like when other teams can 't sleep on either of the other 4 positions (that in itself is terrifying). Not only does he get single coverage in the post, he has single coverage rebounding because the other 4 guys are ALL going to bve guarded. Thats ridiculous. The guy is going to absolutely destroy, and if they choose to shut him down, you just leave Kobe, Pau, Metta, or of course the best shooter in the NBA open.

Hahahahahahahahaha

You guys even pretending otherwise need to get out the popcorn and beer and enjoy the education you have coming, it's gonna be ridiculous.
