The Blazers are offering Steve Blake, Travis Outlaw and likely cash to Clippers for Marcus Camby, league source tells Yahoo! Sports.

The Clippers are attempting to attach the contract of Sebastian Telfair in the deal, but Portland appears unlikely to agree to such a deal.

Telfair began his career with the Blazers.

Done Deal!

Two struggling teams looked to each other for help on Monday.

The Los Angeles Clippers agreed to trade Marcus Camby to the Portland Trail Blazers for Travis Outlaw and Steve Blake, a source close to the situation told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.

The 35-year-old Camby is second in the league in rebounding this season at 12.1 boards per game, to go along with 7.7 points. The Blazers have had a hole in the middle of their lineup since Gred Oden went down with a knee injury in December.

The 6-foot-9 Outlaw is averaging 9.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in his seventh season with Portland. Blake, a 6-3 guard, is putting up 7.6 points and 4.0 assists per game. He's coming off a 20-point, 12-assist game in a win over the Suns before the All-Star break.

Good move for Portland as they need a guy in the middle.

LA makes a smart move too. Blake is a very good back up and Outlaw plugs right into the three. Really, next season, with Griffin at the 4, they're looking really, really good. Now Outlaw has to show he's more than a sixth man.

Yeah good deal for both teams. Outlaw is expiring too btw so its even on that end as I doubt the Clips will re sign him.

On paper it seems like a good deal for both clubs.

They play each other tonight!

Good trade but they will miss Blake off the bench.

Blazers will miss Blake as Raptorman pointed out, but they desperately needed size and Bayless looks alright as the backup to Miller.
Does this mean Outlaw replaces Thorton at the 3? Either way, it's a deal that helps both sides.

haha Clippers and Blazers are playing each other tonight. Wouldn't that be weird? Your sitting in your teams dressing room, and then you'd have to go across the hall to the other teams dressing room cause you got traded there....
