Do you see Iman Shumpert on the side of a train? No... no you don't.

Keep your eye on Philadelphia. Front-runner would be overstating it, but the notion that the Sixers are a viable destination for Asik is increasingly making the rounds. And that certainly makes sense given (A) Philly's front office is run by a certified Asik fan, former Rockets exec Sam Hinkie; (B) Philly has a frontcourt player to send back to Houston, in Thaddeus Young) whose skill set can click with Dwight Howard's, albeit not as well as seemingly unattainable dream target Ryan Anderson; and (C) there really isn't an Asik for Philly to draft with the high pick it's likely to snag in the 2014 lottery.

If PHI trades Young, Hawes would be next in line. He's got great trade value and is at the end of his contract. I'm sure a 'contending' team like POR would give them a late 1st for him.

I take on either Charlie V or Stuckey's expiring contract to make it happen.

I'd also see if Charlotte would give up their 1st rounder for this years draft.

Toronto gets Charlotte's 2014 1st round pick, Ben Gordon expiring and either Sessions expiring or Haywood expiring

Charlotte gets Gay, and either Gray or Daye. If we have to throw in a 2nd round pick I'd do it. I wouldn't mind getting Jeffery Taylor here too if possible.

I don't wanna be the idiot to pay Monroe.

I also can't believe that Detroit gave Charlotte their 2014 pick just to absorb Ben Gordon from Detroit.

If Monroe would take money around what DD is making now they yes sign me up because big men with his potential and skill set are hard to find. Though if he wants a massive amount I would pass.

If he wants a max then fuck that. Rather just acquire picks through trades and do a proper rebuild and eventually draft a PF with potential.

Hope that trade goes through tonight. Blazers at Cavs tomorrow. They are easier to beat without Waiters.

NBA trade rumors: Bobcats may shop Michael Kidd-Gilchrist once healthy - FanSided - Sports News, Entertainment, Lifestyle & Technology - 240+ Sites

Quote:
Charlotte got its first solid win of the season against Golden State last Monday and is on target to reach its goal of making the playoffs. And I don’t think the Bobcats’ aim is going to change.
From what I can gather, all of the Bobcats’ phone calls are about making this team better now. I’m even hearing rumblings that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will be on the table when he returns from injury.

Wonder what would it take to get MKG
