Nuggets are looking to make moves! Here's to hoping we can get Chandler somehow.

Connelly: Nuggets are "open for business" - Denver Stiffs

Could kill several birds and needs for both teams with a trade;

Salmons/Fields/Hayes/2014 2nd for Chandler/Javale. Denver moves some contracts for cap space next year and get a another pick this year, move Javale which leaves Mozgov/ Faried/ Hickson/ Randolph/ Arthur and the Raps can address 2 big needs at the 3 and 5 which would include some vet presence but young enough to grow with the team still.

Lowry/GV
DD/Fields
TR/Chandler
Amir/2Pat
JV/Javale

LF lol disturber I am but I still like him. Could always swamp him out with one of the other 3 Raps but I'd prefer to keep him.

edit: I had originally put a 1st in though taking Javale should be enough for the grief

They're seeing that they can't break through the glass ceiling via internal growth and they're gonna tank next season because of it. Good on 'em.

I honestly like this kind of trade, but I think the nuggets would only bite on this if we add more picks. It does fill two holes. The question should be if those are best players we need the two positions we our looking for. I don't think javele would be the right fit with our chemistry, I'd rather have a veteran centre behind jonas IMO

Some combination of picks I agree though that cap space for next year is pretty important to them to resign players and add. As for Javale, I kinda consider him a vet as he's been in the league 7 years already....not sure I want a back-up too much older considering how hard the Raps play.

I'd insist on Mozgov over McGee, his salary is putrid! A backup Center that is owed 35mil over the next 3 seasons is ridiculous imo. Especially considering he's such a bonehead!

Hope Masai learned his lesson and not going to pull of something similar here

How do we tradeaway Fields, but he is still on our projected lineup?

& were giving Denver scraps & were getting 2 starters. I doubt they make these moves

Wonder how far along Galinari is with his rehab. He is owed 22mil over the next 2 season.

BTW, McGee is owed 23mil/2yrs. I thought he was owed 3 more seasons. Still too much for a backup.

Denver: Novak, Salmons, TH, 2014 2nd

Toronto: Hickson, Chandler

Have to say, looking at their lineup.....a lot of players I'd want here.

Bring in Gallo if healthy
Mozgov

Then look to move Demar for Horford.

Lowry/GV
Ross/Carter
Gallo/Fields/Novac
Horford/Amir/Pat
JV/Mozgov/Hayes

It's about cap space and picks but your right, I had changed it a couple of times and didn't re check.

Right!!

I doubt the let JJ go, though it would be nice. I had first included TH but to pull a page from Pop, ever team needs an agitator

You're right, there are pros and cons but it's Chandler that I want and McGee fills a big need like Chandler. Besides, McGee only has 2 years remaining I believe so 1 year then he becomes a nice big fat expiring - nice insurance policy if it doesn't work. I doubt they let Mozgov go.

Agreed. If we could get Chandler and Mozgov then I'd be a happy camper.

Also agreed. Mosgov cheaper plus better at accepting the role of a backup plus less bone headed plays. Chandler would be the big wing we need. I think can pull this off, but maybe a first rounder might be needed at that might be too steep a price.
